It is a board game with a difference. Its full title is

“Secret-Life” – The Awareness Game

 

It was created last winter – I started to make a design based on magic numbers, around September 2007. Once I had the basic format working (and coded), I used the Angel Cards and some other sources, to define inspirational words to occupy the Spaces around the Circular design. Already, by this stage, there were all kinds of wonders encoded in this layout, but I decided I could add more magic to the design.

Bit by bit, I added symbols associated with various mystical and metaphysical teachings. “After” each stage, the universe (usually via Kath, my wife) would bring evidence of why that item was added and why it fitted where it did. I thought I was just designing it, but there was some “guidance” and confirmation going on.

By the time that Kath and I had got Christmas over with and were ready to go on our adventure to Golden, BC, to look after a Spiritual Retreat with several cabins, “I” had decided that I could probably design a Game to be played on the magic board. I had already started to work out the idea and some of the rules and ideas for the game cards, and during our 2 months isolated in the mountains, I finished the draft design and had written almost 200 cards.

I was wondering how I could find some good source material for writing more “EGO” cards. This was when Eckhart Tolle was going to be on Oprah with his new book “A New Earth”. I was planning on watching the series, but not on getting the book, until I saw it in COSTCO for about $8, so I thought I might as well get it. It was only when I got it home and looked at it more closely, that I saw it was all about the EGO and followed the theme of my game very well. This is only one example of how this Process has unfolded.

I spent 2008 refining the game and reading up more about the things I had already added to the game. I also tested the way the game plays and about 30 of YOU out there have already played the prototype version.

I’m now in the process of hand-making 12 sets, to be used to help market the game and find a manufacturer and distributor. This is a big effort and time consuming, so I have defined a magic serial number for each set and signed them all. They have the potential to become collectors items in the future, either if the game takes off, or if it does not.

I’m building a special web site just for the game. It will be the place where buyers and their friends will come to discuss the codes, the meanings, the discoveries and the new awareness that they have had since acquiring their very own Awareness Game.
