Hello, and a Happy New Year to everyone I thought that this discussion from my ``Home with God`` series was generic enough to put on the article list. For more on this, go to the Forum, Life, Home with God, section. “There are no victims and no villains in the world.” In the last couple of texts, we have talked about the idea that our Soul might have a “mission” or goal or plan and that when that mission is fulfilled, which it always will be, the Soul is ready to “force” the body to expire. In short, the idea is that at some level, we choose when and how to die and that it is always after our work is complete. A few people may be aware of their mission and even be happy and ready to die at the appropriate time. But, our experience is that the vast majority of people are not consciously aware of any specific mission or task that they need to accomplish. Neither are they aware that the task may have been completed and they can now pass away content in their understanding of this. And, why would you want to pass away, even if your mission was completed? There’s plenty more that could be accomplished. The suggested reasoning for this is that we have three levels of Consciousness and we create everything in our lives at |

Life on the Lake We are all aware of examples of the Trinity – the 3 parts of the whole. These include: Father, Son and Holy Ghost Mind, Body, Soul Length, Breadth, Height And now: Lake, Boat and Wave I want to use an analogy to show how Life may be working for us (I just came back here after describing what appears to be a new paradigm that I’ve never come across quite like this before – slight variation on a theme) Please read to the end. The setting is a very large peaceful lake with mountains and clear blue sky. It is peaceful and calm with no wind and no visible movement anywhere. Boats of all kinds are moored to the dock and some are at anchor off-shore. The lake is like a sheet of glass, reflecting the blue of the sky and the browns and greys of the mountains. As the morning sun climbs higher in the sky a light breeze begins to blow and the surface of the water shows signs of activity. No waves are breaking, but energy is in motion. The anchored boats begin to rock in the light breeze and their shape on the water creates ripples, extending out in all directions. Now that the water surface and the wind and the anchored boats have started their rhythmic dance, the boats tied up at the dock begin to join in, each creating its own pattern on the waters surface. Our attention turns to one of the boats in the lake as its anchor line begins to retract. The boat turns to face away from us and begins to pick up speed. As speed increases, a wake forms behind the boat and waves appear on both sides, moving in opposite direction, pure and clean and in harmony, like the two sides of a |

Neale Donald Walsch, “Home with God” and James Arthur Ray, “Science of Success”, or “Million Dollar Mindset” Mid Oct 2009 – 3 People Die in Sweat-Lodge at an Arizona Retreat If you are reading this web site, you are probably aware of James Ray, one of the many people interviewed as part of the very popular video and book “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne I’m not going to repeat the news story here, you can easily find details on-line, however, in summary, over 60 people took part in a retreat, including a sweat-lodge session, 19 became very ill and 2 died, and another died later. There is controversy over the design of the lodge, the process, the teachings and reactions of James Ray and some of the things that James Ray and his team have said about how and why the people died. One statement that has been presented is not entirely a new or unique idea, but can be rather offensive to people that are not in-line with that view of life: The idea that people “choose” how and when to die. This is talked about in “Home with God”, by Neale Donald Walsch (another interviewee from “The Secret”, but probably with a significantly different perspective than James) “You can not die against your will” (HwG, Remembrance 3) Back in 2007/08, I wrote about “Home with God” and these ideas. They are long-standing ideas associated with Spiritual teachings, but as Neale says in his talks, you would not present a grieving family member with this perspective unless |
